Menopause is similar to all parts of female sexuality in that most of us don't discuss it with anyone until we fear something might be wrong with our bodies. Where does that leave us? Without answers and education about our bodies. With this workshop, I'm hoping to remove the taboo associated with menopause and normalize the conversation by providing participants with information on staying sexually vibrant during this stage in your lives.
When it comes to menopause the best defense is a strong offense!
I will cover the following:
1- Why a healthy diet/exercise routine is beneficial to your transition
2- Maintaining vaginal health - pelvic floor/libido/vaginal health
3- Keeping up a healthy level of sexual arousal - solo or partner'd sexual activity "If you don't use it, you'll lose it"
4- Bodily changes and what to expect
5- What are resources you can utilize
